to members of police as well as public. Thiruvananthapuram City Police has
always strived to provide efficient, responsive, impartial, transparent and
accountable Police Administration in the Capital City. We have made rapid
strides towards our goal of providing technology driven delivery system to the
citizens of Thiruvananthapuram City. I firmly believe that policing can be done
effectively only with active co-operation of the citizens. Kerala Police has
been involving the citizens through various projects which have a unique system
of Community Policing. Law and order as well as crime control measures have
been particularly successful with the active participation of the general
public. I am also optimistic that the Thiruvananthapuram City Police will
continue to meet the new challenge of preserving the democratic order of the
society, in ensuring the safety and security of women and children and also
upholding the constitutional provision.
