The Thiruvananthapuram City Vanitha Police Station was opened vide G.O (RT) No: 1567/83/Home dtd 23.05.1985. As per G.O (RT) No : 427/03/Home dtd 15.03.03 the jurisdiction of Vanitha police station is extended to the entire city. At the present this police station is functioning in a Govt. building bearing TC 81/C-29 of Thiruvananthapuram Corporation
